The idea
We are eager to enhance our students' outdoor learning experiences by acquiring new play equipment on our school field. With school budgets already stretched, replacing old and damaged play equipment is becoming increasingly difficult for us.
Our goal is to create a dynamic outdoor environment that fosters physical activity, creativity, and social development. We believe this initiative will significantly impact our students' overall well-being and educational journey.
What we'll deliver
- A new climbing frame installed on the school field
Why it's a great idea
Investing in new play equipment for our primary school will transform our pupils' daily experiences, fostering physical health, creativity, and social skills. Carefully designed playgrounds provide safe, inclusive spaces where children can engage in active play, crucial for their physical development. They also stimulate imagination and teamwork, helping children develop essential social and cognitive skills. With your support, we can create an enriching environment that encourages exploration, joy, and learning. Every contribution brings us closer to a vibrant, dynamic playground where our children can thrive. Join us in building a brighter, healthier future for our pupils!
Steps to get it done
- Design finalised
- Old equipment removed
- New play equipment installed

Community Days: During our termly community days, locals help with school grounds work, fostering community spirit and allowing children of volunteers to benefit from our new equipment.
Intergenerational Project: As part of a research project on intergenerational learning, the new play equipment will provide enrichment opportunities for both children and adults.
