A showcase of fantastic diverse range of music acts, representing the rich musical culture and heritage of Slough, this annual event aims to bring communities together to celebrate and enjoy local musical talents, showcase new and existing talent and get more people involved in music making.
It is free to attend and open to all, with opportunities to participate in some musical activities; inspiring the public to actively engage with music-making and learn more about the amateur music scene in their local area.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
We strive to ensure that: young people are enterprising and work ready; they have access to arts and cultural experiences; they gain a broadened international outlook; that communities and families feel inspired, happy and a sense of wellbeing; that teams and workforces are creative, confident and connected, and we feel as though music and the arts are a vital tool making these things happen.
Steps to get it done:
We form meaningful partnerships to develop values, skills and understanding. We find creative approaches to inspire children, young people and those around them to discover their potential. We are a social enterprise, investing every penny of profit back into work with children and young people and their families and communities. Over the last twelve years, we have connected over half a million children and young people with high quality arts, cultural and learning experiences
