Whilst sport is currently suspended we need to maintain the grounds and buildings. Work is done by volunteers but there are costs such as utilities and fuel.
We may be in lock-down currently but we want to be ready once restrictions are eased. The ground suffered some damage during the recent floods so needs work to get the ground match ready. As such volunteers are endeavouring to keep the ground and pavilion in top condition. The pitch and square need cutting. Plants and Hedges need trimming and Pavilion needs painting and tidying. We are fortunate to have members volunteer to help every week but there are costs to this work. We need fuel for the movers plus the gas and electric costs to meet. As there are no games at the moment we have no current source of income so are relying on a small amount of savings we have.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
We want to make sure we are ready to go once the cricket season restarts. Not completing the maintenance work soon will cause a lot of extra work and expense at a later date.
