More about our impact
The local economy
We are aware that incoming performer and audiences used local hospitality outlets
Volunteering, jobs & education
5 actor facilitators were employed on the project. Participation in creating performances would have enhanced wider learning in skills such as communication and building confidence and self esteem. The creation and interpretations of scripts would have assisted developing literacy skills in the young. 7 volunteers worked over the festival weekend and 2 on the preparation
Arts, culture & heritage
The festival brought together a variety of theatre groups. Over 6 months groups prepared their performance pieces. The Neston Town Hall provided a cultural base for the rehearsals and the actual festival event. The festival highlighted the creative life in the town as delivered via a venue on the high street.
Activity, health and leisure
The event brought many participants and more as audience into the Town Hall to share the experince of joy and creativity together.
