We are looking for funding to increase our free to access ADHD support services for families and individuals within the Cheshire West area. We are hoping to provide interventions for those isolated.

Ellesmere Port Delivery stage

£10
pledged of £11,324

Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.

Our organisation is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals and families affected by ADHD. We understand the critical need for timely support pre and post-diagnosis to prevent the potential loss of employment, relationships, and education provision that can arise from ADHD-related behaviours. The Insight programme offers targeted support through an 8-week, face-to-face initiative in Winsford, Ellesmere Port, and Neston, which has profoundly impacted participants, instilling a sense of peace, reassurance, and confidence. The barriers that mental health issues, travel limitations, and ADHD traits can pose in group settings, we are committed to expanding our services to include personalized 1-2-1 coaching. This will cater to those who find group participation challenging. Our goal is to empower individuals with ADHD to manage their daily lives effectively and foster their journey towards employment, education and community reintegration.

What we'll deliver:

  • 1 to 1 Coaching Support for 4 individuals for 12 weeks

Why it's a great idea:

The benefits our service will bring is addressing the crisis that is caused by the breakdown of public service provision. We provide independence skills that not only help individual achieve their goals in the short term, but also equipping them with skills and knowledge to support themselves more independently without having to rely on traditional mental health pathways such as clinical interventions, which are often not what's needed. We use the money given to us to breathe health and strength back into the communities we work with. We can improve mental health, but also our goal is to train and provide real opportunities for those special individuals in our society, who have the golden touch when it comes to supporting others but find themselves trapped out of work or in working poverty often in social care roles. This project aims to help our community in a multi faceted approach, truly empowering individuals and ensuring that money goes to community members.

Steps to get it done:

  • Complete our first 4 interventions
  • Identify key individuals for scholarship
  • Train up Executive Function coaches

I understand that we are not supporting the development of a place, however we are aware that Health box CIC has been granted funding for support services using this platform
