More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

Through permaculture workshops at the events, nature based activities and nature connection we have increased knowledge and skills. Visitors to the festivals have become volunteers and attendees at other sessions on site and have become engaged in caring for this beautiful green space

The local economy

The local economy

We used local artists, performers and artisans to provide workshops and demonstrations at the events.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

We had teams of volunteers who helped prepare the site, set up and pack away as well as to keep the festivals running smoothly on the day. This ranged from volunteer ran activities to making cups of tea

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

We provided nature based craft activities at all festivals, had specialist workshops which showcased green woodwork, weaving, clay work to name but a few. This increased knowledge and skills. We provided free performances and music

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

Our festivals were free, open and inclusive to all in a beautiful green space in the middle of a housing estate. In doing this we provided access to leisure where the barrier of payment was removed. This has also brought more people to the gardens who now engage in regular activities on site
