More about our impact
The environment
We have made use of lots of donated items such as clothes, surplus food and items for activity packs so have kept these out of landfill.
The local economy
In supporting people with their basic needs we have used local suppliers and shops when we have needed to buy items.
Volunteering, jobs & education
The project has used many local volunteers (many of whom are on furlough), from neighbours doing shopping and delivering food to neighbours to experts in areas such as database management, data protection, welfare and social media.
Activity, health and leisure
The provision of food has taken into consideration enabling people to have a balanced, healthy diet and has included items such as fresh fruit. Activity packs have been provided for children in school holidays.
