The idea
Mount Pleasant FC was established over 21 years ago and operates on a voluntary basis.
The football aspect of the club provides for ages 5 to open age.
The club currently has around 350 registered participants with a waiting list of around 150.
The clubs vision is to make Hyrstlands Park its home venue and improve the facilities for ALL users during these difficult financial times.
The Mount Pleasant FC Community gala started in 2023 and this will be its 3rd gala. It is attended by approximately 3000 people from the immediate community and further afield.
The gala hosts football tournaments for children up-to age 13. A vast array of activities, such as go-karting, bouncy castles, penalty shootouts, slides and much more is available on the day. To add, we have up to 50 stall holders providing, arts and craft, food and clothing etc for attendees.
The event is open to and is attended by all age groups and has been a massive success in the last 2 years and contributes to the club vision.
