The idea
Mold Cricket Club is a local community cricket club and a popular hub for the local area. Not only are we a cricket club but our clubhouse provides facilities for meetings and various social events throughout the year. The COVID - 19 epidemic has hit the cricket club hard. The club relies on income from membership, matches and social events throughout the season. During the current COVID - 19 lockdown period the club has had to close indefinitely which means the club's entire income has ceased.
However, during this period of closure, the club's running costs have continued to accrue. These include insurances, utilities and ongoing maintenance costs.
We are seeking your kind donations to help ensure that the club can survive and build towards the next season
What we'll deliver
- Pay utility bills
- Pay insurances
- Maintain the ground
- Ensure the solvency of the club throughout the COVID - 19 epidemic
Why it's a great idea
Mold Cricket Club is an ECB accredited cricket club playing in the North Wales League. We have four senior teams including a development division and a thriving and vibrant junior section running teams at U9,11,13 and 15 and providing young people in the area a great opportunity to play cricket. This would be sorely missed by the local community if the club does not survive the financial crisis caused by the COVID - 19 epdemic
