Ten weeks of FREE music classes for children aged 0–3 years, led by professional musicians in 10 local areas across Berkshire. Mini Maestros will bring quality music-making to your local community and nurture a love of music for life. Children and their grown-ups will experience singing fun action songs, playing inspiring percussion instruments and also moving with colourful scarves. Help make this magical opportunity a reality in your local community and make a difference for local families. Two specialist classes: Baby Beats (0-12months) and Family Beats (1-3yrs), will be available at each venue.

What we'll deliver:

  • Mini Maestros - Lambourn Memorial Hall
  • Mini Maestros - Hungerford Methodist Church Hall
  • Mini Maestros - Hampstead Norreys Village Hall
  • Mini Maestros - Woolhampton Village Hall
  • Mini Maestros - Emmer Green, St Barnabas Parish Centre
  • Mini Maestros - Arborfield Green Community Centre
  • Mini Maestros - Crowthorne, The Morgan Centre
  • Mini Maestros - South Ascot, All Souls Church
  • Mini Maestros - Cookham Dean Village Hall
  • Mini Maestros - Dedworth, All Saints Church

Why it's a great idea:

The early years of life are a crucial time for development and are ideal for introducing quality musical experiences. Music has the power to reach across the boundaries of age and culture, touching each of us and strengthening family and community bonds. Relaxed, friendly classes led by professional musicians who play real instruments – and it is FREE for 10 weeks so we can reach families who may not normally access this kind of opportunity. Mini Maestros offer exciting, engaging and well-paced sessions, using a wide range of inspiring resources and real instruments. Babies and toddlers love gentle bouncing, rocking, swinging in the air, exploring instrumental sounds, playing peek-a-boo, and moving to the beat. Nourish and strengthen the bond with your little one. Come and make friends and learn some lovely new songs and games to use at home!

Steps to get it done:

  • Buy five boxes of dedicated Mini Maestros instruments
  • Confirm all provisional venue bookings
  • Introduce Mini Maestros to 300 new babies, toddlers and their parents in Berkshire from January 2020!!
