MindFood Makeover - facilities upgrade

Inside the dome, we can carry on the work to transform the dome platform into 14 raised beds...and still stay dry 🤗 Once that’s done, we’ll be able to finish the floor with sand and gravel ready for the staging for seedlings and young plants. Can’t wait!

So excited to take delivery of the dome last week - it means we’re all set for the build this Friday 🤗

Our new hypedome is in production for us! The 150 or so windows are being precision cut to order and will arrive in 1-2 weeks’ time. In the meantime, we’ll be getting to grips with the assembly manual - we can’t share much detail, unless you’d like to help us with the build...but suffice to say, it’s a work of art in itself. All colour coded and numbered - like the ultimate lego set!

The old frame will form a platform round the new dome, and we’ll transform it into a raised bed to grow more veggies and herbs in.

So pleased to get started on our project - and delighted to have extra pairs of hands to dismantle the old dome. The frame and windows are bagged up and ready for recycling.
