Meysey Hampton - New play equipment

Despite dreadful weather conditions, rain, snow and freezing, our contractors managed to complete the construction of the new equipment before the Christmas holiday. This was great as with families getting together and wanting to get some fresh air, it was enjoyed by many over the the break.  We had several complimentary emails and comments saying how much their children and grandchildren had appreciated the new play equipment. 

The works were completed on budget. 

Folllowing the site health and safety inspection a number of areas for improvement on our older equipment were advised. Our band of volunteers have been hard at work refurbishing and the play area is now looking good. 

A decision was made last year that we would have a formal celebration of the play area upgrade in the Spring when hopefully weather will be better.

We are also hoping to restart the monthly coffee mornings to encourage the community to come together.
