The idea
At Monkseaton Cricket Club we take our role within the local community seriously. Dedicated volunteers ensure opportunites to be active and play the great game of cricket exist for players aged 5 to 75!
Like many organisations, Coronavirus has negatively impacted our income but our fixed costs to run the club remain. This project will help the club continue to operate.
The ECB will match funds raised upto £100.
What we'll deliver
- Maximise cricket opportunities for all ages groups this summer
- Maintenance of ground equipment to prepare pitches for several matches each week
- Cover increased running costs to ensure COVID19 safety for all players
Why it's a great idea
We love cricket, we love our club and want to ensure we continue to support the local community to particiapte in criket for years to come. Supporting this fundriasing with help us with our goals.
