As a non profit organisation any sponsorship, grant or support we get is vital to providing the community with a great summer fayre. There is something for most ages and it also brings local small businesses, hobbyists, groups and clubs together for a great event. We are hoping to have animals, reptiles, lazer maze, assault course, pillow mountain, miniature train rides and other rides. There will be other stalls showing bushcrafts, tombolas, hook a duck, arts & crafts, dance clubs, yoga, beat the goalie, smash crockery, marching youth band and much more. One of the local churches and some of our committee will be selling cream teas or strawberries & cream on the day. There will also be other refreshments like a bbq, doughnuts, ice creams etc.
What we'll deliver:
- A fun afternoon that's affordable for every member of the community
- Helping promote local Businesses, Groups & Clubs.
- As a non profit organisation all monies raised goes straight back into other events held for the community.
Why it's a great idea:
With all the pressures of daily life it is a great way to get children & adults alike outdoors and having fun. We try to make things as affordable as possible so that everyone can join in without it costing them a fortune. The fayre helps small businesses/clubs etc. find new customers/members, it also shows people what is out there. With health and wellbeing in the forefront of most of our lives it is paramount that community events help with such struggles. We hope to make our community a safer and better place to live where people look out for each other.
Steps to get it done:
- To provide the attractions that the local youth have voted for via social media in particular the Lazer Maze.
