The idea
Whilst Mansfield District Council and its partner organisations are working to manage and fund increased demands during the Covid-19 crisis, our charities, voluntary and community groups are also doing a fantastic job, ensuring we can increase efforts to reach and safely support as many people across the district as possible.
To support this network of charities, voluntary and community we have created a Community Response Network Fund to provide financial assistance to the many charities, voluntary and community groups that are providing help and support to our vulnerable residents during the crisis.
Mansfield District Council has ring fenced £25k to support the campaign but they also need your help. A crowdfunding project has been launched so that residents and businesses whose circumstances allow, can also donate to provide additional community help and support. All money raised will go directly to these community organisations and volunteers to enhance the support further.
