Making Music Theory Learning Kit

It’s time for a little update. I haven’t achieved the funding I was hoping for—yet—but I haven’t stopped. Instead, I’ve focused on improving production and being more careful with spending. I’ve made some smart adjustments: slightly reducing the size of the notation and boxes, which has significantly improved printing time and reduced costs. I also added two second-hand printers to increase capacity. Most materials are sourced from the UK, with magnets being the only component sourced from abroad. Outreach has been encouraging. I contacted 105 schools, and 5 schools in the Enfield borough responded positively and are willing to trial the kits. These include Ashmole Academy, Hazelwood School, Raglan Infant and Junior School, and West Lea School. In addition, I’ve received kit requests from 3 private schools and started a collaboration with “In Tunes with You” from Lancaster. Production is progressing well. I expect to complete printing by May, followed by painting and magnet assembly. The boxes and staves are already finished. Booklets will likely be printed in June, with delivery planned before July—right on schedule. Thank you for the support so far.
