More about our impact
The local economy
The creative economy is one of the sectors outperforming many others. Lets hope one of our band members makes it big and produces an album that contributes to this! For now, we're helping the local economy by hosting rock and pop gigs in Wolverhampton at authentic venues like Newhampton Arts Centre that contributes to their economic output.
Volunteering, jobs & education
It has really supported our Music Education Hub in creating transformation change. Without the cash injection to pump prime the equipment we could not have started this work. We have excited teachers here on Weds nights doing excellent work with 20 young people and this will grow as the years progress.
Arts, culture & heritage
This offers a more informal route for children in the city to progress their talents for rock, pop and contemporary musical styles.
Activity, health and leisure
Our work creates a safe place for young people to explore music they love. That supports mental health and wellbeing and offers them a creative activity outside of school.
