Young Mums Support Network (YMSN) is a social enterprise that works with young, impoverished and struggling mothers across South London.
Our founder, Fiona Small, has a stellar track record of establishing a warm rapport with mums who need a boost. Having founded YMSN as a single mother herself who was appalled to see the London riots kicking off in her own neighbourhood just as she had given birth to her second child, Fiona is all about empowering mums - who are the bedrock of any healthy community.
Since then, YMSN has won numerous awards; most recently, Fiona was given the Mother of Magnificence Award in 2018. To quote some of the ladies who've worked with us:
'You guys have made me realise that it is possible: it gives you the confidence to take the first step on the journey.'-Maria
'It hasn't just affected me; it has affected my whole family and the way we work together, what we can do together to use all our skills for a better life.'- Adreana
'Perfect. This course has enlightened me better.'
