Thanks to your donations, the young people's cave is now ready for play after a beautiful ribbon cutting ceremony by birthday girl Ledia. In June we will introduce 300 local children to the cave on a transition project for year 6 students moving to secondary school. If you want to be a part of the team that does this, get in touch to register your interest in becoming a Make Moves volunteer! Dates are June 18th-27th with a mandatory training day on Saturday June 16th. Thanks again for all of your contributions, they couldn't have done it without your support!
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!

She has shared her positive energy for the the project at her school by opening doors for teachers and fellow students, handing out motivational stickers and wishing people a nice day. She raised a total of £37 which her school will be matching! - Well done Ledia!!!! :) #Behaveforthecave

Head over to the education section of the East London Advertiser to read about our cave project! “Play spaces in East London are uninspiring, with so many being closed,” Toynbee Hall’s Curtis Worrell said. “It’s not enough for young people just having areas of grey concrete to play on—they need diversity and be challenged mentally and physically. “So these kids have decided they want change and can do it themselves, crowdfunding and building their own caving facility.”
