Longden Parish Council is the most local tier of local government. The Parish Council meets every first Wednesday in the month, except August. The meetings start at 7:30 pm and are usually held in the Parish Hall in Longden. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak in the public session held at the beginning of each meeting Elections for all seats will be held in May 2025. The Council is keen to encourage membership from all sections of the community and information about the role can be obtained from the Clerk on request.
