Supporting communities to crowdfund for projects which matter to their neighbourhood.
The project set out will replace all of the soffits and facias around the back of building which have deteriorated over the years to a point where they must be replaced. It would also allow the flat roof to be replaced over a community room to make sure it is water tight. We would also repair any masonry which needs repairing/replacing to prevent any more deterioration to our wonderful community building
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The benefits of the project will bring this local community building (which has had no income for months due to Covid)into a better state of repair. This would allow us to continue using the hall and building as a hub of the general community that it is. The building is used by many individuals of all ages for many different activities which include bumblebee beatz, toddler group, baby bloom, rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, slimming world, several yoga groups, clubercise, philatelists, soup and sandwich lunches, knit and natter group and a craft group to name a few. It caters for all ages from birth - 99. The project will ensure that all these people can continue to use this wonderful local building in an area this is accessible to all.
