Why it's a great idea:
The Leys is intended to be the central play area for children in Witney. However, the old paddling pool has been closed for a couple of years and the play area is looking tired. Both are in need of a dramatic re-vamp
Steps to get it done:
Over £231,000 has already been raised towards the project. We would like to raise a further £2,500 through spacehive to fund the pumphouse and a changing shed.

Mission
Liven up the Leys’ aim is to provide the children of Witney with modern play facilities within The Leys park, and in doing so we will support families and communities in giving their children the opportunity to share fun and play in a safe and friendly family atmosphere.
Objectives
Liven up the Leys is a charitable social enterprise that will endeavour to engage with stakeholders, business and the general public to raise funds to supplement available grants in order to secure the best possible outcomes.
We will also carry out extensive and inclusive public consultations across all age groups to determine and manage expectations, assisting residents to achieve aspirations.
We will work alongside Witney Town & District Councils in providing feedback and support to facilitate their decisions on the end product.
