The idea
The British Legion club in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port has just been told they need a new roof costing nearly £10,000. They need help if they are to meet this expenditure.
The club plays a vital role locally, not just for service veterans but for the wider local community. It provides a meeting place for retired fire fighters and other community groups and abase for the local food bank.
They host funerals, weddings and community events, as well as darts and snooker teams.
The club gives a lot to the community and we want to give them something back.
