müllZimmer was established in late 2012 as the creative output for collaborative works by Jonas Gustafsson and Lia Mazzari. It has since grown into a loosely tied together collective organising events and exhibitions in and around South East London, and self-published a number of books and musical releases. The events and publications released thus far have been focussing on the relationship between landscape, language and listening, and involved a wide range of local artists, writers and musicians to interpret these themes. As a percussion/cello duo, Gustafsson and Mazzari have performed around the UK and abroad, and are continuously working on new material tied to their research. Their second publication, “Less Apparent Horizon”, was released in early 2015, and two cassette compilations featuring local musicians and artists are scheduled for July 2015.
