Let’s Create is an independent community initiative offering accessible, unstructured play sessions designed to ignite creativity and self-expression among young people in Stroud. Our mission is to foster confidence, connection, and joy through imaginative play that encourages children to explore without boundaries or pressure.
Our sessions are open to children of all ages, providing a welcoming environment where each child can play and create freely, using recycled and loose materials like cardboard, fabric, and paint. Emphasising a Pay-What-You-Can model, we ensure that families from all backgrounds can join in, with an additional “pay-it-forward” option for those who need it. Let’s Create sessions are especially appreciated by parents and carers, as they offer a safe, inclusive space for children to play and interact with others.
For children with additional needs, including neurodivergent individuals, Let’s Create offers a sensory-friendly environment free from performance expectations. Here, young people can express themselves fully, develop confidence, and manage their emotions.
Sustainability is also central to our mission. By using recycled materials, we instil environmental awareness and teach children the importance of creativity that respects nature and resources.
With plans to expand across Stroud, Let’s Create aims to bring more families together and continue building an inclusive, vibrant community through creativity and play.
