The idea

Stacksteads Countryside Park Group would like to host the Lantern Parade again this year but we need your help!
We'd like to build upon our very busy open workshops for anyone to come and create their own lanterns with Local artist Ruth Evans and then proudly parade them at an evening event at the end of October around the Countryside Park in Stacksteads where there will be installations set up by the artist along the route, refreshments will available at the end for all participants, local groups joining in and a band playing to lead the parade. Rossendale radio will be invited to make a real party atmosphere.
We'd like to keep this event free but we'll need your help, please pledge any amount, even a small pledge could make this event happen!
