Helen trained at RADA & plays the character of Hannah Riley in BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Archers’. Recent Theatre includes ‘Jungle Book’ and ‘Robin Hood’ for The Dukes Theatre & tours of 'Ladies That Bus'(2020) & 'Ladies That Dig' (2023), for which she also composed the music. She has been a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company & performed onboard the QM2 in ‘Much Ado about Nothing’, ‘Merchant of Venice’ & ‘Canterbury Tales’. She worked on a songwriting voyage across the Atlantic, 'Songs In The Key Of Sea' with Squeeze & Roger Daltry.
Helen sings with local bands, plays flute, guitar & uke & is a memebr of Baybeat Street Band at More Music, Morecambe. She feels strongly about making theatre accessible & reaching communities who do not have easy access to the arts.
Director Kirstie Davis has worked at many theatres around the country inc Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Salisbury Playhouse & Cheltenham Everyman. She was CEO and Artistic Director of Forest Forge & recently directed 'Robin Hood' at The Dukes, Lancaster.
Writer Joyce Branagh is a Writer, Director & Actor based in the NW. Her plays include: Ladies that Bus; Ladies that Dig: Boomtown Gals, (nominated for Best Fringe Play at the Manchester Theatre Awards). She has also written 8 pantomimes, one of which has integrated BSL for Cast Theatre in Doncaster. Her ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ won Best Script at the Great British Pantomime Awards this year.
Lisa Howard is a versatile, experienced artist, highly skilled in acting, singing, directing & puppeteering. Lisa has carved a career in theatre, film and TV, embraces new experiences, always seeking to nurture her skills and broaden her knowledge base & recently achieved Level 2 in British Sign Language.
