Knypersley Cricket Club 2021 fundraising

Knypersley Cricket Club is Biddulph's sporting jewel in the crown and has been hit dramatically by the COVID 19 pandemic. Fundraising was almost halted in 2020 and we desperately need help for 2021.

We need people to offer skills, time or resources to develop this project. Check what’s needed below, then click ‘Volunteer’ to get involved.

  • As we start to work on the playing surface in February and March for the forthcoming season we require new ground working tools such as; spades, folks, hard bristle brushes, a wheel barrow, rakes etc.
  • A new year brings maintenance to our old and charming facilities, as a result we are in need of; timber (varying sizes), wood preservative, pothole repair kits, weed killer etc.
  • The old pavilion requires new kitchen flooring and carpets throughout.
  • We need paint for the facilities such as, magnolia and white emulsion, black and white masonry, black and white gloss.
  • We need stocks of consumables for the 2021 season, we require; sanitising products, cleaning products (bleach, washing up liquid, multi surface cleaner), paper towels, toilet rolls, disposable drinking cups etc.
  • The old pavilion requires new appliances and we need; an electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwaves, large tea urn, kettle and hoover.
  • We need appliances, plumbing items and materials for our pavilion toilets such as; sinks, taps, floor paint and hand driers.
  • We need to refurbish our pitch side benches which will require donations of timber (3 by 2), white masonry paint and green fence paint.
