Kingsley Parish Council is the lead organisation on this project, supported by a group of local residents. The Council is a democratically elected body, which works hard to provide improvements for the benefit and wellbeing of residents.
The Council currently managed other open spaces and community infrastructure - including Kingsley Cemetery, Kingsley Playing Field, and the playground and outdoor gym. The Council is also working hard to improve its 'green' credentials and has worked with Cheshire West and Chester Council to install two wildflower meadows in Kingsley over the past two years.
The proposed site for the ramp has been neglected for many years and has become overgrown and unloved. There is a great opportunity to transform this parcel of land for community use and the creation of a new corridor with additional wildlife habitats will convert this under-used wasteland, and provide benefits to the environment and local residents.
