Project Grow will transform Kingsholm Primary's growing space into an outdoor classroom, teaching all about good food production and promoting nature-focused wellbeing.
Having further cleared the site, we have constructed a bean wigwam, created a new raised bed in the old compost storage area and planted potatoes in old tyres.

An urban community farming collective across Cheltenham and Gloucester. We turn urban spaces into places for growing together. Everything we do is aimed at supporting a circular food system, improving wellbeing and increasing biodiversity.
As a good food movement, we advocate for communities to grow food together because the people who rely on the emergency system such as food pantries and community food projects rarely get a choice to good food - food that has low food miles, that is chemical free, seasonally grown and in alignment with mother nature. Instead, they are given mainly ultra-processed, non-perishable food and yet expected to thrive within our communities and therefore society.
The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
