More about our impact
The local economy
Only new, unopened gifts were provided to our families. These items were purchased by our incredible donors to be gifted to local families in need, the majority being purchased from our local retailers. Items that we received fewer donations for, including vouchers for teens and gifts for children under 2 were purchased using the project funds from local retailers too.
Volunteering, jobs & education
The project was supported by our volunteers who helped sort, pick, pack and deliver gifts for families. We were joined by 10 corporate groups who volunteered their time to ensure all referrals were with the families before Chrsitmas.
