Updates
On behalf of the Robert Thompson Charities I am writing to thank you for your Platinum Jubilee Grant of £11,178 for our project to renovate the roof of Saltwood Village Hall. Your generosity, together with grants from others and support from our local community, meant we were able not just to repair the roof but upgrade its insulation. Not only is the roof now in a good state of repair but the hall retains more heat and uses less energy. I’d like to particularly thank Kerry Outlaw who did an amazing job ensuring we met the deadline and provided all the right information. We’ve been through enough grant applications to appreciate the difference that such help makes and Kerry was quite exceptional. Do please pass on our thanks to her. We will be holding an Open Day later this year to thank our grant givers and showcase all the organisations who use our hall and you will receive a separate invitation to this when the date has been finalised.
