The environment

The environment

The project was run in the outdoors where minimum of electricity was used. Equally, some items were bought so we can recycle and reuse again such as bunting, plastic table cloths. All rubbish were separated and put away in the appropriate bins.

The local economy

The local economy

The project helped the local economy by organising a tea party within the Church Street Area. Shops and Church street Market were used to purchase different resources.

As this was a Tea party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee, therefore, there was an increase of volunteers from the community and the community centre. Staff from the Four Feathers helped with the event, supervising and serving food for the children. Children entertainers such as face painting, nails painting, children magician, were used during the event.

The project's theme was the Queen's Jubilee celebration which is a cultural and heritage where children learnt about Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II marking the 70th anniversary of the life and reign of a Monarch.

This project brought the Church Street and Lisson Grove area together on the day to celebrate the Queens Jubilee. This was also an opportunity to promote physical activity where children and young children were able to play, dance and being active.
