We want to be able to offer better access to Drama education for the children of families who are low income or just about managing.
Our Youth Theatre specialises in inclusive sessions for children out side of school. Youth theatre is vital to the personal, social, political, aesthetic and educational development of young people. The theatre art is a universal expression of human kind and helps young people to find their place and voice in society. Our sessions have a track record of successfully improving childrens confidence and social skills. The cost of living crisis is having an impact on many families which were already struggling which means children are missing out. We believe every child should have access to recreational and educational activities outside of school and therefore are asking for funding to create spaces where they can explore, play and express thier best creative selves in safe and nurturing environment.

VolunteerWorcester TheatreMakers is a theatre workshop company set up in early 2014 by Beth Walsh and Bev Bevan. Beth and Bev are passionate about theatre in all of its forms, and chose the name TheatreMakers due to a belief that theatre can be made anywhere, by anyone, and with no need for a stage. They are committed to using theatre and drama to encourage adults and children to build confidence, self esteem and people skills, in addition to having a lot of fun!
