Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

All the 10 zones where situated in around Rivington. Promoting it's heritage and wonderful nature and forestry. The heart of the festival was based in the Rivington Terraced Gardens. We wanted to show over 600 families what Rivington has to offer and there are so many local services and clubs, so get out there and explore!

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

120 people took part in the water activities at The Anderton Centre and 165 took on the treetop challenge at Go Ape. 56 took part in Orienteering provided by UCLAN. Over 100 families received Certificates on the day for completing 5 or more activities. Please see some of the photos attached. We’ve had some fantastic feedback from people from in and around the Northwest that have attended the Wellbeing Festival. Many of them haven’t been to Rivington before especially for a family dayout.
