More about our impact
The environment
Whilst the equipment purchased did not have an effect on the environment we endured we purchased from local suppliers (less than 40 miles away) to minimise emissions from the delivery van
The local economy
Our ever expanding junior section benefit from the cricket equipment. This has helped us increase the numbers of youngsters playing cricket and therefore keeping active. It has also benefited our girls teams helping increase the numbers of girls participating
Volunteering, jobs & education
Purchasing new equipment made it easier for us to get volunteers as it was a more attractive proposition to coach juniors
Activity, health and leisure
We have increased the number of junior cricketers helping their physical and mental health. This includes a doubling of our girl members in our flourishing girls section
