Into Nature CIC is your local community for Forest School, training and wellbeing in nature. Our wonderful woodland site is at Hailey Wood, on the Bathurst Estate near Cirencester; we also work on sites around Stroud.
Into Nature’s mission is for everyone to become connected to nature - for health, wellbeing and empowerment. We are passionate about making Forest School experiences available to everyone, especially those whose circumstances prevent them from having regular access to nature, be it through finances, disabilities or other factors.
Our focus is to bring people together, tackling isolation and enabling connections, no matter what your background or age might be – everyone is welcome and a valued part of the community.
We already run some regular groups and sessions for the community:
- Outdoor parent & toddler groups
- Baby Forest Bathing
- Therapeutic Story Days for ages 8-12 years
- Women’s sessions
- Networking and training for Forest School practitioners
We have started forming partnerships with other local organisations and charities and are part of a regional social prescribing network in order to set up opportunities for those who would benefit most from our programmes.
We hope to run more programmes of wellbeing and woodland skills for women, young people and adults, intergenerational sessions and team wellbeing days for organisations.
