Gedney Dyke Youth Club CIC was founded in September 2025 with one clear goal — to bring something positive, fun and much-needed to the young people of our area. Based at Gedney Dyke Village Hall and officially launching in January 2026, our club will provide a safe, supportive and inclusive space for children and teenagers aged 6–16 to meet new friends, try new activities and feel part of their community.
Our weekly sessions combine games, crafts, sports, wellbeing activities and community projects — all designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork and teach life skills in a fun, relaxed way. We believe learning and laughter go hand in hand. Whether it’s through a creative art project, a sports challenge, or taking part in something that benefits the wider community, every child who walks through our doors will have the opportunity to grow, belong and thrive.
The heart of our work lies in our core values: inclusion, kindness and opportunity. We aim to tackle isolation, especially in rural areas where youth provision is limited, and ensure every young person feels valued and supported. We want to give them not only somewhere to go but something to look forward to — a place where they can express themselves freely, gain confidence and build lasting friendships.
As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), every penny we raise goes directly back into creating the best possible experience for our members. Our goal is to make the youth club self-sustaining, community-led and deeply rooted in the spirit of Gedney Dyke.
However, we can’t do it alone. We rely on the generosity of local people, businesses and organisations to keep the club running and growing. Every donation — big or small — helps us provide equipment, fund activities, support volunteers and make a real difference in the lives of local children. We’re also always looking for passionate volunteers and community partners to join us on this journey.
Together, we can give our young people a safe space to shine, learn and dream. Gedney Dyke Youth Club is more than just a club — it’s a community coming together to build a brighter future. With your help, we can ensure that every young person in our village has the opportunity to feel supported, inspired and proud to call this their club.
