The idea
This project aims to inspire young people through free contemporary classical music workshops, fostering creativity and musical exploration. Over five months, 20 young participants will engage in sessions led by professional, classically trained musicians, honing their skills and expanding their appreciation for this genre. The workshops will take place in and around Accrington, providing accessible opportunities for local youth to connect with the arts. The initiative will culminate in a collaborative performance where young talents share the stage with professional musicians, showcasing their progress and celebrating their journey.
As part of the project we will inspire young people to expand their qualifications via the Arts Award or AQA Unit Award schemes, offering pathways to additional education.
