The environment

The environment

All of our sessions were held online, reducing environmental impact from travel.

The local economy

The local economy

Sleep is an incredibly important physical need for humans to function. In particular our return to work session enabled parents to feel more confident in returning to work outside the home.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

We forecast that we'd be able to train 10 staff and volunteers; but we actually managed to train 28! This is our entire population of practitioners and volunteer peer supporters, meaning that when parents come to us for support with infant sleep, they can rely on us for evidence based and compassionate support. Our staff really enjoyed building their confidence in infant sleep support.

85% of new parents report struggles with understanding and supporting their infants sleep. Sleep is very important for parents and babies in terms of supporting mental and physical health. We not only provided online training for parents on this topic, but can also now support individual families with sleep through our ongoing support services.
