More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

We have grown all our food organically and local residents have benefitted from being able to harvest the produce when ready just metres from their homes. This will have reduced food miles and the use of pesticides and inorganic fertilisers

The local economy

The local economy

We have purchased materials from local businesses and charities in delivering our project

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

We have had two school children who volunteered with us as part of their Duke of Edinburgh bronze award. We have also had additional volunteers come on other occasions to assist with gardening activities. We are always happy to have more volunteers!

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

We have held three community apple pressing days in collaboration with other local Incredible Edible groups and a fourth on in collaboration with Friends of Westminster Park.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

Those who have assisted us have been able to participate in gardening activities which promotes health and wellbeing.
