Havering Volunteer Centre is a small, independent charity established in October 2015, dedicated to supporting the Havering community through high-quality, sustainable volunteering services. We work closely with local Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs), helping them recruit, retain, and support volunteers effectively.
Our focus is always on people. We provide a bespoke, person-centred service that empowers individuals to build confidence, develop skills, and explore new life opportunities through volunteering. By matching people with meaningful roles, we help strengthen community connections and improve wellbeing.
Through collaboration and local insight, we ensure volunteering opportunities are relevant, accessible, and impactful. Our work not only supports organisations but also enables residents to grow, contribute, and feel valued—creating a stronger, more inclusive Havering for everyone.
