The idea
The revitalising of Hyson Green Youth Club 68 year old building . We are in the process of transforming the club exterior, creating an inviting and attractive entrance and reception area. Our users have asked for further improvements to the female toilets and the boxing gym. A few years ago we transformed our old squash courts into a vibrant boxing gym. Unfortunately, the existing roof is now beyond repair and the regular leaking is causing damage to the boxing equipment. By fixing the gym roof, we will create a safe space. Our regular weekend events have taken a toll on the old toilets, it's time to modernise this space and provide improved facilities to adults and young people . Your support will make a tangible difference, creating an environment that inspires and nurtures their talents and ambitions. Overall, the benefits of this project extend beyond the physical infrastructure improvements. It aims to create a nurturing and empowering space that enables young people and wider community to thrive, build friendships, develop skills, and ultimately become well rounded productive members of society.
