We're crowdfunding to help our club through this time where Cricket is suspended due Covid-19 and we have no income coming into the club.
Covid-19 has affected the whole world and recreational sport is no exception. As a Cricket Club we are facing the ever growing likeliness of our whole playing season cancelled to due Covid-19 which means we have no form of income. Whilst we have reduced our fixed costs the best we can we are have the expenditure that we need to pay whilst nothing coming in so we are looking to raise a small amount of money to help with our running costs . The money we raise will ensure the club isn't at risk of folding when it is safe to return to playing and it remains a place for all the local community to enjoy & participate in cricket!

It will keep cricket alive and well in Huntspill catering for the current & next generation of cricketers. It will provide opportunities for people to become more active,, reconnect and should build even stronger links with the local community.

VolunteerHuntspill & District Cricket Club is a small village cricket club situated in the village of West Huntspill, Somerset. It is a hub of cricket development, particularly for the benefit of children and young people. The Club was the first in Somerset to achieve ClubMark Accreditation by demonstrating that best practices are in place to develop and deliver high quality community cricket in a safe, effective and child-friendly way.
Huntspill & District Cricket Club runs 2 senior sides playing in the Somerset Cricket League on a Saturday, a midweek side and a growing Ladies Softball team.
The club runs a thriving youth section running sides in the Taunton and District Cricket Youth League at under 15, under 13 an under 11 age groups, as well as running both All Stars & Dynamos Cricket. Our youth programme prides itself in developing cricketers to enjoy the game and to play their best with progression into senior sides if they wish.
