Our club relies on bar takings, membership and sponsorship to provide cricket for all. We need your help to ensure that we can survive the COVID-19 crisis and remain strong when cricket resumes
With the news that the ECB has announced no professional cricket until July at least and with no mention yet of recreational cricket resuming this year, Hethersett and Tas Valley still have bills to pay and with a reduced income. Vital income from sponsorship income is currently down by 62% on 2019. The ECB will donate £100 to our cause once we have raised £100 towards our target. We have decided to set up this page to help contribute towards the revenue lost from various income streams. We want to ensure that Tas remains a place that the whole community to come to enjoy cricket and with exciting plans to develop our training facilities, every penny counts. It is vitally important that community assets such as our club can continue to thrive after this crisis ends, which it will.

As the cricket season has yet to commence and the lockdown started at the time at which we traditionally collect membership and sponsorship fees, we have a limited income to support our outgoings. We love our club and want to ensure that we can emerge from this crisis in as strong a position as possible

VolunteerHethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club is a friendly and inclusive ECB ClubMark accredited cricket club located in the picturesque grounds of Taswood Lakes, Flordon, Norfolk. Founded as Hethersett Cricket Club in 1860, we have a long and distinguished sporting heritage. Since relocating to our current home in 2003 to enable the club to expand, the club has thrived and membership continues to grow year on year, with the club currently hosting 13 regular teams at all age groups.
The club is a holder of the nationally recognised ECB Clubmark accreditation and has recently realised unprecedented success, both on and off the field. Our key ethos is “Cricket for All” and we pride ourselves on offering cricket to players of all ages and standards. In two years of hosting a ladies’ team, we have seen both participation and standards increase significantly.
Whatever your age or standard of cricket, there is an opportunity at Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club. Most of our junior membership is drawn from local state schools, where access to cricket is limited in the curriculum.
