‘Hornchurch in Harmony’ (HIH) is a community event aimed to bring music and entertainment and to showcase local talent to the High Street of the Hornchurch town centre. The event will bring the local community together and entertain shoppers of Hornchurch town Centre and generate a vibrant atmosphere within Hornchurchwhich seeks to celebrate Hornchurch in music .We plan to have both professional and local talent from the Area performing in the High Street. Our Team incorporates diverse range of small business including Retail Food /Drink and Children’s Activity Groups .We also have the full support of Queens Theatre where the Director is our Chairperson who will support the coordination and production of the event .We have already had pledges from both the Local Authority and Fatling Public House .The second event is 21st November where the focus will be launch Sunday trading in Hornchurch .

What we'll deliver:

• Live Music local Bands and Childrens Theatre Group
• musical theme for the day, families to visit stations and collect a sticker with photos of entertainers
• To add vitality and entertainment throughout the Town, stiltwalkers, jugglers, clowns and balloon modellers.

Why it's a great idea:

Hornchurch is recovering from both the recession and significant road works in the last few years.However we now have new businesses recently opened within the restaurant & retail sector offering new range of shopping opportunities Brand Names like Holland & Barret to new independent stores like DANNI Boutique of TOWIE Fame , We have several new restaurants in the area .We now also a have new pedestrian area with ample parking , we just need to get the old customers back and new ones to try us out .Our new Town Centre Team has only recently been formed and already we have had over a 500% increase in membership .
