Honor Oak Music Experience was cancelled due to mitigating circumstances in 2015. The Christmas Experience was a starting point and well received so lets bring back the talented performers from the Honor Oak Estate, and surrounding areas, in Summer 2016 with Honor Oak Music Experience.
Those that pledge will be funding a proper stage for our talented residents to showcase their work and what is a festival without a bar? Whilst concession stands will be by local caterers help up a real bar at the event so everyone can enjoy the atmosphere on the Honor Oak Estate without having to stray too far.
We all know news doesn't travel well throughout the estate so lets make sure everyone knows with an effective marketing materials and if we have any money left in the pot we an be one of those events that actually pays their acts!
Lets make Honor Oak Music Experience BIGGER and BETTER for summer 2016!!
What we'll deliver:
- Honor Oak Music Experience will create community cohesion and a sense of community pride
- Honor Oak Music Experience will have a proper stage to showcase the talents of local artists and performers
Why it's a great idea:
Honor Oak Music Experience is going to be THE community event of the estate, helping residents move pass the events of 2015 and look forward to the rest of 2016 and on to 2017.
Steps to get it done:
- Honor Oak Music Experience will be promoted on its social media channels to try and obtain as many pledges as possible
- Honor Oak Music Experience will create and implement effective marketing materials so noone misses out
- Honor Oak Music Experience will manage the logistical aspects of the event ; licences, stage and sound hire etc
- Honor Oak Music Experience will put a call-out for performers, groups and artists to perform on our crowdfunded stage
