Whoop, 40 people have pledged since fundraising began!
After much re-thinking and many conversations around this project, we have concluded that we might have been a bit ambitious in our initial proposal! We are now scaling back the initial launch to cover 6 months running costs instead of 12, as well as combining a mix of clinic hours and community hours in a bid to reduce monies spent on room hire and office furniture. We are also extending the provision area to cover the whole of Kirklees. Our hope is that opening it to a wider audience will help us find a model which will become self-sustaining in the future. We remain deeply committed to this project and believe that it is something our community both needs and wants. Kirklees Council also believe in this project and have backed us to the tune of £4000, providing we reach our fundraising goal. We are so grateful for their help! Huge thank you to Spacehive for allowing us to relaunch our campaign, we appreciate your help as we navigate this new venture. All our original pledges will remain when we relaunch, and we thank you for your early encouragement! So, let’s reach our new target!!
