Holding Grief, Growing Hope

After discussion with Spacehive and Shropshire Council, we have decided to scale down our project to ensure that we could continue delivering our invaluable service. We've been able to reduce our costs by, Merry, our founder and director, offering her services in kind. She will continue, with the other directors, to raise funds throughout 2026 to ensure the project continues to the highest standard. We are proud to announce that we will still have the support of Shropshire Council who will still contribute towards our campaign. It is truly humbling to hear that the council believe our project is of value as we know it is!

Our deadline has been extended, we now have 18 days to raise £3305! This past week I've been on BBC Radio Shropshire and we've had two articles go out to share our story. I'm optimistic that we can do this!

We have only one week left until this fundraiser comes to an end and I have been celebrating every penny that has come through! In the past week I have sent over 100 emails to local businesses, large businesses, funeral directors, community groups with funding pots and sadly, I've heard nothing back! I am hoping that I will hear something in the coming days. We have £3406 left to raise and I think we can do it! It's big, I'm an optimistic person! Can you help me share, tell your friends, tell your work places, help me spread the word!
