Cricket has finally got the go ahead to play competitive cricket! Hoorah! With your help Hull Ionians Coal Exporters have stayed in front of requirements to be ready and able to put on matches, Your funds have enable the club to cut, roll and prepare a fully playable safe surface. The club thank each and everyone of you who have provide these funds without which we would have struggled to prepare such a fine surface.
Thank you to all our supporters for your pledges. these pledges go toward the upkeep and care of the square pictured yesterday before the much needed rain today. With the recent change in government advice the practice net is being used and this is now showing why we need funding to ensure safe surfaces to play and practice on. There are still 25 days to spread the word about our funding campaign and help us in our quest to provide safe facilities for all.
The club thanks all our backers in helping us through these difficult times. We now have passed 10 supporters and you have pledged support in excess of our target already. The excess funds will go towards our new Pavillion project which is currently on hold. With this help the club can make additional efforts to ensure when cricket does resume our playing area is the best it can be.
Whoop, 10 people have pledged since fundraising began!
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
